Korean born contemporary artist Choi So Young can be said to be one of the top creative artist in South Korea today. For a young female artist who have carved a niche with the kind of art she does, it is something that is worth talking about and definitely will be remembered for a very long time.

Choi So Young was born in Feb 10, 1980 in a town called Busan located in South Korea where she had basically all her education. She attended Dong Eui University, Busan, where she studied Art.

Young at a developmental point in her career took interest in Textural Material Art. This is a kind of art that involves making use of clothing materials or patterns of different texture to create artwork. In creating this kind of art, Choi So Young makes use of Denim clothing, Acrylic paints, dyed and bleached jeans material.

Most of her works are urban landscapes, building and cities. She has won so many awards to her credit. Also has had her works featured in art galleries and art fairs like the Shun Art Gallery, Art Miami Basel and Art Chicago gallery. Choi's works has also been displayed and sold at auctions too.
